Green Juices

If you want to gain the maximum amount of nutrients Green Juices are the way to go. With greens such as Collard, Kale, Spinach, Broccoli and turnip on top of the list of highly nutrient dense foods, incorporating green juices into your diet is one of the best things you can do for your body.

If you are new to juicing green juices may not be the easiest to start with as you may need to develop your taste buds, but once you do (the sooner the better), you'll love them. The options are endless, but here's some ideas to some refreshing green juices.

Celery Spinach Green Juice:
Serves 1 
  • 2 green apples
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1" ginger root
  • 2 cups kale
  • 2 cups spinach 
Method: thoroughly wash produce, and cut into smaller pieces to match the size of the mouth of your juicer. Use all parts including stems and leaves, no need to core apples. Just run everything through. When finished juicing, stir and enjoy! 

Apple Spinach Green Juice: 
Serves 1
  • 2 green apples
  • 4 cups spinach 
Method: This recipe is so easy, and yet so refreshing. Simply wash and roughly chop produce, juice and voila a yummy green juice.

Celery Kale Green Juice:
Serves 1 
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 2 apples
  • 6 leaves kale
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon 
     optional: 1 tbsp ginger 

Method: Wash produce and peel lemon. Roughly chop produce to fit juicer. Juice, stir and enjoy. 


Melon Beet Green Juice: 
Serves 1 
  • 6 leaves kale
  • 6 leaves beet (chard)
  • 1/2 cantaloupe
  • 1/2 honeydew
  • 2 green apples
Method: Remove melon skins and wash produce. Chop, juice, lightly stir and enjoy.

Fennel Pear Juice: 
Serves 1 
  • 2 small - medium fennel bulbs
  • 2 pears 

Method: This juice is almost too easy to make, but nevertheless super refreshing. Simply wash and chop, juice and you have a yummy drink.
